1. Add butter to skillet and melt over medium heat.
2. Add halibut steaks to melted butter.
3. Pour 1/3 bottle dry white wine and 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice into skillet.
4. Season halibut with garlic powder and fresh ground black pepper.
5. Cook 3 minutes, turn halibut, and another 1/3 bottle dry white wine and 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice.
6. Add chopped onion and turn halibut twice more.
7. After 3 minutes, turn steaks again and add more wine and lemon juice.
8. Add chopped onion and mushrooms. Turn twice more. Serve. |
