Orange Basil Halibut

Seasoned halibut sprinkled with orange zest and dried basil. Baked until golden brown and fish flakes easily.
Ingredients -
4 (1/2-inch thick) Halibut Steaks
1/2 teaspoon Coarse Salt
1/2 teaspoon Fresh Ground Black Pepper
4 teaspoons Freshly Grated Orange Peel
1 teaspoon Dried Basil Leaves, crumbled
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) Butter
 
Preparation:

1. Preheat oven to 350 F.

2. Grease ceramic baking dish.

3. Season fish with salt and pepper.

4. Arrange halibut in single layer on bottom of baking dish.

5. Sprinkle with freshly grated orange peel and dried basil, and dot with butter.

6. Bake 12-15 minutes or until fish is cooked though and flakes with fork.

7. Serve hot. Spoon cooking juices over individual fish pieces.
