Garlic Halibut Steaks

Halibut steaks marinated in olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, basil, salt and pepper. Grilled over medium heat.
Ingredients -
4 Halibut Steaks (6 ounces each)
1/2 cup Olive Oil
6 cloves Garlic, minced
2 tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice
2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley
2 teaspoons Dried Basil
2 teaspoons Coarse Salt
2 teaspoons Fresh Ground Black Pepper
 
Preparation:

1. Combine olive oil, minced garlic, fresh lemon juice, fresh parsley, dried basil, coarse salt and fresh ground black pepper in a re-sealable zip lock bag.

2. Seal bag and toss gently to mix.

3. Add halibut steaks to marinade. Reseal and refrigerate 1 hour.

4. Preheat grill to medium heat.

5. Grill halibut steaks 3-4 minutes per side.

Grilling Fish
Oil the grill rack prior to placing fish on the rack. If absolutely necessary fish can be placed on foil when grilling.

Grill halibut over direct heat. If using charcoal, wait until coals are ashy white in color before grilling.
